Our History
Norman Boss founded Starrett Service in 1983 after identifying a need for the expedited delivery of plastic compression molds. This 24-hour service enabled the builder to ship same day to the end-user, quickly connecting them for mutual benefit. The concept was born — Expedited delivery, one load per truck, custom transportation.
Today, Starrett Service has grown to be a leading flatbed carrier. Specializing in 24/7 service throughout the U.S. and Canada. Based out of a rural 28-acre campus in Massillon, Ohio, Starrett Service is recognized for prompt dispatch and safe, on-time deliveries. Operating with a safety record far superior than the national average. Starrett Service has always emphasized clean, late-model equipment, courteous drivers, satisfied customers and a dedication to quality.
